Designed as a hardcover, “Lead Innovate Serve” celebrates The American University of Beirut (AUB)’s sesquicentennial. It pays tribute to the university’s first 150 years (1866 – 2016). The book presents the essential historical milestones in chronological sequence, from the first graduating class of 7 students to the university’s global impact of today.
AUB is one of the leading academic institutions in the Middle East with around 55,000 alumni worldwide. During the 18 months of the design, our focus was on 4 elements: The Book’s academic & timeless value, the Middle East region’s rich visual heritage, elegant type/layout aesthetics & cutting-edge production techniques. Starting with the partially revealing jacket with a seamlessly continuous bronze foil frame (An industry first) and ending with LED printing technology for the full book.
